December 13, 2017 - Gavin Landers Wraps Up 2017 Season
The 2017 season saw Gavin Landers compete in a total of 28 events behind the wheel of the Crop Production Services #777 Super Late Model and three times in the Larry Shaw Race Cars #777 Open Wheel Modified. With the weather determining the outcome of six of his scheduled dates, Landers collected 11 Top-10 outings and four Top-5 finishes. He also finished seventh in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) point standings.

October 28, 2017 - Landers Places 7th in Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park
Kicking off the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic., Gavin Landers visited Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the unsanctioned weekend. In a field of 42 cars, Landers timed in second fastest in his qualifying group before recording a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Earning the 13th-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Gavin improved six positions in the 100-lap affair notching a 7th place finish.

October 14, 2017 - Top 5 Finish at Old No. 1 Speedway
Gavin Landers made the short trip to Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) on Saturday powering the Double L Motorsports #77 Super Late Model. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Gavin locked his spot into the A-Main. After dropping out of the Top 5 early, Landers worked his way up to a 3rd place finish behind Hunter Rasdon and Ashley Newman with Kyle Beard and Travis Ashley rounding out the Top 5.

October 7, 2017 - Landers Heads South for Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway
Friday night brought Gavin Landers to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) for the 11th annual Gumbo Nationals. With 35 Super Late Models on hand for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned weekend, Gavin recorded a 6th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday night. Sending the Top 3 into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Landers came up one spot short with a 4th place finish.

September 30, 2017 - Gavin Landers Attends Race for Hope 74
Competing in the inaugural Race for Hope 74, Gavin Landers headed to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) on Wednesday night powering the Crop Production Services #77L Open Wheel Modified. In a field of 91 cars, Landers secured his spot into the opening night preliminary feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind J.T. Goodson. Locking the Top 8 into the $20,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday evening, Gavin posted a 23rd place outing.

The following night for another round of preliminary action, Gavin landed a runner-up finish in his heat behind Kurt Kile sending him into the A-Main. Falling short of a Top 10 finish, Landers registered a 15th place spot.

Returning on Friday, Gavin started the night off with a heat race victory locking him into the preliminary feature. Battling for a Top 10 finish, Landers got squeezed into the wall that sent him flipping violently. He was able to walk away from the scary incident unharmed while being credited with a 21st place finish.

After failing to place in the Top 8 in any of the first three preliminary events, Landers’ weekend was over after his wreck on Friday night.
